BDS
Duration: 4 years with 1 year Internship.Number of seats offered: 40.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate must have completed 17 Years of age at the time of admission or shall complete this age as on the 31st December of the Admission Year.
- He/ She should be medically fit to undergo the course and practice dentistry.
- Have passed the Karnataka II PUC examination or an equivalent examination in CBSE, ICSE or State Boards with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages.
- Have secured 50% Marks in these three subjects and English taken together. However, for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, the minimum marks are 40%.
- Admission to the course shall be based on National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by National Board of Examinations. Advertisement are released in all leading dailies during the month of January / February for the application of the entrance examination. Candidates can register online (see www.nbe.edu.in ). Entrance examinations are conducted during the month of April / May. Admission to this program will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The candidates will be called for registration and online counselling process by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) through the website kea.kar.nic.in and allotment of the seat is based on the merit list published by KEA.

The candidates may approach the CIDS Deanery with the admission allotment letter from the counselling authority (KEA) along with the below mentioned documents:
- Rank card (NEET).
- S.S.L.C. (10th Std) marks card.
- 12th Std. Marks Card.
- Transfer Certificate.
- Date of birth certificate (if it is not in the 10th Marks card).
- Aadhaar card
- KEA verification slip

- Blood group report.
- Migration Certificate by Board (Not Applicable to P.U.C. Board students).
- OBC/Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe students should produce caste & income certificate.

- Photo copy of parent’s PAN CARD.
- 4 Nos. of pass port size and 2 Nos. of stamp size photographs of student.
- Passport size photographs of father & Mother (One each).
- Copies of passport of the candidate and parents in case of NRI aspirants.
- Employment certificate of the parent in case of NRI students.
- Sponsorship letter from the parents sponsoring their ward in case of NRI candidates.

Duration: 3 years. Number of seats offered: CIDS offers Post Graduate Dental program in all the nine specialties of dentistry.
- Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics: 6 admissions/year,

TRANS DISCIPLINARY DEPARTMENTS
Medicine and Dentistry have been generally thought specialty wise. While in Actual practice a dentist expected to integrate his learning across various departments while managing the patients, hence we at CIDS providing a Horizontal integration philosophy where in students are trained in managing real life clinical scenario by following TRANS DISCIPLINARY DEPARTMENTS, where in faculty from different department come together and guide the students in managing patient treatment and diagnostic option then ensuring that our students go out ready for clinical practices.

- Candidates who have completed their Undergraduate Dental education in India from a dental college/institute duly recognized as per the provisions of the Dentists’s Act, 1948 are eligible for MDS.
- The candidates should have completed Compulsory Rotatory Internship by 31st march of current year
- Candidates should have obtained permanent registration with the Dental Council of India or any of the State Dental Council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of admission.
- All Candidates should be qualified in NEET - MDS.

International Admission
- Candidates with foreign qualifications will have to obtain the ‘Equivalence Certificate’ from Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi who will equate their qualifications as equivalent to the 10+2 of India. This certificate will have to be submitted at the time of admissions.
- Valid passport and student visa for the period of study. (Original must be shown for verification. 5 duly-attested photocopies must be produced.)
- Letter of sponsorship if applicable – Original + 5 copies
- Residential permit from the local SP and FRO *
- No objection certificate issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India*
