ALUMNI MEET 2024 – 27TH JULY 2024

As a part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences a Grand Alumni meet was held/organized on the 27th of July 2024. Over 150 Alumni attended the reunion and it was a day of warmth, love and bonding for the CIDS family. The day witnessed significant emotions of joy and happiness among our alumni who got an opportunity to reminisce, relive the good old college days at CIDS. The reunion was graced by our senior trustee Mr.K.K Aiyappa sir, the dean Dr.Sunil Muddaiah, Mrs. Urvashi Muddaiah, Prinicipal – Dr.K.C Ponnappa, Vice-Principal- Dr.Jithesh Jain. The event provided a platform for the alumni to share their experiences reminding them of the significant impact of their college years has had on their lives. The event was also included cultural programs performed by the students and alumni which was very vibrant colourful and captivating and everyone truly enjoyed the performances. The alumni documentary was indeed a blast from the past. The faculty and alumni had a chance to rekindle the joyous events from the past.

The silver jubilee alumni e book was released on the occasion showcasing the hidden talents amongst our alumni as well as their wonderful experiences at CIDS penned down the memory lane. More than 500 of our alumni who could not make it in person to this lively reunion witnessed this mega event live on our Facebook platform. The day wrapped up with an exotic dinner party at the Palm Valley resort, Gonikoppa. The CIDS family was extremely overwhelmed to see and experience their students grow, excel and create a name for themselves and to their alma mater as highly competent clinicians, health care providers, clinical research scientist, entrepreneurs delivering world class oral health care to their patients.
